Prosthetics is an intraoral prosthesis used to restore intraoral defects. Fixed dental prostheses (metal ceramic, metal-free ceramic, alloy crowns and bridges) – fixed to the remaining teeth or implants provide a good aesthetic appearance and improve chewing efficiency.
Removable partial prostheses (dentures, arch supporting prostheses, elastic dentures) – are meant for the patients who have lost several teeth on some dental arch (upper or lower). The aesthetic looks of these prostheses is good enough, but due to the lower stability of denture, the jaw bone wears off faster.
Removable full dentures (plates) – are for the patients who have lost all the teeth in the lower and/or upper dental arch. Removable dentures can be fixed on the implants.
Micro prosthetics is applied in order to preserve a tooth with especially durable and aesthetically pleasant metal-free ceramic inlays-onlays, and veneers. Veneers – are very thin ceramic plates for the front teeth, which are fixed to the enamel on the outer surface of the tooth by special adhesive cements.
